I tell ya what, i did not give a good god damn about this man til i heard of the AMA ruckus. Now im in love, fan girl style, with his sexy ass being hot n gay all over my desktop. Rawr. And good for him for having the balls to be himself. Its an ugly world sometimes and kudos to him for standing up against the criticism.

Not to mention his album is actually good. And honestly if you havent heard the Track "fever" you are missing out. Originally a lady gaga song.. (my god a match made in heaven there) it is my new favorite dance song, and its on a loop in my head every day. It is an eargasm.

Been working alot.
Been arting a lot, though not much to show yet. Most of it is christmas gift art so i dont wanna ruin any surprises by posting early.
Me and one of my LJ buddies are swapping some arts and possibly collaborating on a project and im excited about that. im working on a series of pencils of Psylocke that ill have to show soon that will be sent out to him to play with. Also working on my own comic project, slowly. God it so involved, i was sketching out a page of mine and realized, again, how much planning and layout is really involved.
Should have some character sheets though of those main chars soon though.

I was gonna write some rant on how monogamy is over-rated and over valued but it doesnt blend with turkey art and adam lambert so ill save it for another post.

and other than that it was ok. good action over all, i dont expect them to follow cannon anyway and it just makes me mad they havent done rouge and gambit in the same movie. which at this point would be weird cause if i recall shes like 16 in the movies.

I was reading something on the FA forums about religion.
and someone made the comment along the lines of "I know people NEED god, they need the guidance and support that they cant get themselves"
and i was offended. this is such a condescending statement, that people NEED a god to tell them to be moral or get them through hard times, i like to think peope are much better capable of taking care of themselves and making choices with out the idea of someone watching over them and then i went..

"Ooooooh... wait...i get it." and now i get where some of the republican and libertarian ideas come from. and where the base of some of it stems from. now my own views havent really changed, and i dont fall on any party line for politics anyway. i dont agree with any party really. I think some of them have good ideas, but not that any single party or ideology has all the answers.

But i thought id note that little bit of... oh it doesnt hit you til it hits you. That i say the same thing of religion as some conservatives etc, say of social programs.
not that thats the whole picture, or factor or reality of it but i found that an interesting part of my day.

I grew up on anne rice. and i had heard she made the switch to jesus a while back and just shook my head. not too hard a call.. in her writing ,after going back and reading things like the vampire armand and memnoch the devil, she had that weird god emptiness that said she was gonna turn to the dark side. She had a bit of an obsession with Christianity to say the least. But there is no excuse for the above. none madam. none.

Today was a good day. We went to florence and had dinners at outback. We had all kinds of lamb and filet mignon and shrimps and it was fabulous. and sangria. i love sangria.

Also we went to hobby lobby and i got awesome clearance inky pens. Also known as prismacolor liners but i like inky pens better.

We're moving to the beach.

Its always been a dream of mine to live near the ocean. I adore the ocean and the beach and the atmosphere and the night life and the salty air. So as it looks we're moving back to Delaware... and getting a damn manufactured home (polite term for "mobile home")
that we can pay off before we're 40. and live our dream. life is short. we know how much space we need (not a lot) we have our priorities (and blissfully they are the same priorities!)
And weve decided we dont need a big house. we dont need a fancy house. we do need the sun and the surf and fine cuisine and vacations and travel and the extra money we would be saving going towards those things.

i am so damn excited. So damn excited.

So we're looking up all the stuff we need to know and prepare for, so we can be ready to move next year.

life is so short and this is so much that i want. i could even have room for a studio..
